主讲人简介:

Courtois Jeremie,高端外专,成都大学特聘研究员。曾于法国著名研究所(巴黎索邦大学、巴黎理工大学和巴黎科学院)学习化学和材料科学,并于2012年在巴黎狄德罗大学获得凝聚态物质和界面博士学位。参与了Nano3T欧洲项目,开发用于靶向肿瘤治疗的生物功能化超顺磁性纳米颗粒。随后,于西南科技大学环境友好型能源材料国家重点实验室任专职特聘研究员。2016年获得四川省政府千人英才奖并主持国家自然科学基金项目。研究领域包括胶体、纳米颗粒、表面功能化和杂化纳米材料。近年来,在著名SCI期刊上发表论文24篇。


主讲内容简介:

近十年来,1-100nm量级的粒子因其在各个领域的广泛应用而受到越来越多的关注。纳米材料具有巨大的比表面积和量子效应。通过对其化学成分、结构和物理参数(如尺寸、形状、表面电荷和孔隙率)的控制可更好的控制纳米材料的纳米效应,而纳米结构-功能关系的控制依赖于化学和物理的表征。

讲座旨在帮助大家根据未来的研究需要选择相关的表征技术。将回顾可用于纳米样品的化学和结构表征常用方法和技术,内容重点将围绕特别适合于胶态纳米颗粒分散体特性的技术表征,比如动态光散射等。同时还会介绍相关纳米颗粒分析中每种技术的优点和缺点,使与会的研究人员和学生对纳米颗粒的特性有一个清晰的了解。


Abstract:

Particles on the order of 1-100 nm are the subject of increasing interest over the last decade due to their numerous applications in various areas. Compared to their bulk counterparts, interesting properties such as huge surface/volume ratio and quantum effects arise from their nano-size. Greater control of these properties depends on the control of their chemical composition, structure and physical parameters such size, shape, surface charge, and porosity. Thus, nanoparticle research relies on chemical and physical characterization in order to improve control of nanoparticle structure-function relationship.

In this seminar, we will review the most common methods and techniques used for chemical and structural characterization of nanoparticle samples. Emphasis will be put on techniques than are particularly adapted to the characterization of colloidal nanoparticle dispersions such as dynamic light scattering and zetametry. Advantages and drawbacks of each technique will be discuss regarding nanoparticle analysis. Attending researchers and students will get a clear overview of nanoparticles characterization. This seminar aims to help them to choose the relevant techniques according to their future needs.
